Profile Information

What do you currently do?
Currently I am getting ready to start school at Interface College where I will be studying Web Design and e-Commerce. I will also be getting certified as a Web Master and a PhotoShop Master. Everyday I look for a job from dawn until dusk, and every evening I come home to my two cats and loving boyfriend, in our shitty little one bedroom apartment. Everyday has a new hope, but always the same dream: To better myself, and create a better life for myself.
What is your comfortable hourly wage?
$9.00/hour
Consider what you love to spend your time doing most? Share…
I love working in PhotoShop, and I would love to spend my days in a photography/digital media setting. I have also been around horses for the past 18 years, and I would like to continue competing, and possibly own a stable where I could pass on my equine love to another generation.
Think about how much money you need to live comfortably? Share…
I need around 800 dollars a month to live comfortably, maybe a little more to be able to afford my love of tattoos :D. But $800 would pay for rent, bills, and food. I'm used to living on my own in a bare-minimum setting, so it's not hard to live off of a bare minimum wage.
Think about what kind of education would interest you most? Share…
For me, college education interests me the most. It really seperates the men from the boys/girls from the women. It really determines who is willing to stick it out for another 2+ years educating themselves for a better job, so they're not stuck flipping burgers until they kick the bucket.
What do you consider to be some of your strengths?
I am a definite people-person, and love broadening my circle of friends. I am able to create small-talk with complete strangers without it being awkward with either party/ies involved. I also consider public speaking, and teaching others my interests, sewing, pottery, horse back riding, etc., are things that I have quite a bit of strength in. I am also a really fast learner, and I am always willing to learn new things!
Are you doing any projects right now?
My projects as of now are to get my school career going, I'm starting at the end of March, I need to find a new apartment more suited for me, meaning non-douche bag tenants that call the cops on me for bullshit reasons, and to create a name for myself in the digital media field, i.e. web design.
What do you consider to be some of your weaknesses?
Some of my weaknesses...hmmm...I'm thinking that I am way too caring sometimes, and I hate to say no to people. I can't stand disappointing people, it just kills me! :(
What do others tell you that you are good at?
Others tell me that when they are in need, that I am the one they come to. Whether it's money, even when I can't spare it, lending a helping hand, sewing up clothes (I've been sewing for the past 9 years), giving them a home-cooked meal, or just be there to listen to problems so they can vent and rant. I am always there, day or night for my friends, no matter what.
Who do you aspire to be like, or what do you aspire to achieve?
I aspire to be like my grandmother, Jane Walczyk. She is and has always been my hero. She was one of the most selfless people I have ever met and I thank her for that. Grandma Jane was a devout Catholic and was the only person in my family, on either side, to accept me when I came out. She taught me how to cook, how to sew, be a proper young lady, and how to annoy my mother (her daughter). She died 3 years ago, and I miss her everyday.
